Fees

 

Fees Are

£5.50 per hour for 3-4 year olds

£6.00 per hour for 2 year olds.

Fees are invoiced each half term but you are welcome to pay on a weekly, monthly or half termly basis.  Fees can be paid in cash, cheque, bank transfer, tax free childcare or by employer childcare vouchers.

Notice Period

You must supply us with at least 4 weeks written notice of your intention to either decrease the number of hours your child will be attending preschool, take an extended break or to withdraw your child from preschool. If insufficient notice is given you will be responsible for the full fees of your child for 4 weeks from the date notice was given.

Please note that holiday and sickness are both charged for.

Paying for Preschool

 

Early Years Entitlement

 

All 3-4 year olds are entitled to up to 15 hours of free childcare per week for 38 weeks a year.  Funding starts the term after a child’s third birthday.

 

Working Entitlement

 

For working families who meet the eligibility criteria a further 15 hours of free childcare per week (30 hours in total) for 38 weeks a year can be claimed. Funding starts from when a child is 9 months old.  See www.beststartinlife.gov.uk for more information.  Note you need to register with HMRC to receive this funding.

 

Early Learning for 2 Year Old Funding

 

Some 2 year olds are entitled to funded early education and childcare. This funding is based on your child’s circumstances or your family income.

Childcare Vouchers

 

These can be obtained from your place of work if your employer is registered with a voucher scheme. Please speak to your employer for more information and let Jayne know if you wish to pay using this method.

 

Tax Free Childcare

 

For working families with children under 12 who are not using childcare vouchers and meet the eligibility criteria.  For every £8 you pay in the government will add an extra £2 up to £2000 per child per year.  See www.beststartinlife.gov.uk for more information.  Note you need to register with HMRC to receive this funding.

 

Working Tax Credits and Universal Childcare Credit
